As an award-winning photojournalist based in Los Angeles for the past decade, Branimir Kvartuc has photographed thousands of news events in Southern California including numerous Academy Awards, three Lakers championships, the 1998 Women’s World Cup, the 2000 Democratic Convention and the OJ trial. He has worked for the Orange County Register and the Daily Breeze newspapers and is represented by ZUMA Press.

He has photographed everybody from Princess Diana to Snoop Dogg and has been published in hundreds of magazines all over the world, including People, US magazine, Rolling Stone, Newsweek, Bride, ESPN magazine, InStyle, Maxim, Playboy and Vanity Fair. His photos have been used by 60 Minutes, The View, E! Entertainment and A&E Biography.

Branimir knows that every client has individual requirements. His primary goal is to understand what those are and to deliver them in the most satisfying way. He believes relating to his subjects and clients is important for creating valuable photographs that have meaning and emotion. “I typically work in a space where intimate moments happen,” he said. “It is ultimately important that my subjects trust me and that I understand them.” His experience and talent make that possible while making the entire process fun and exciting.
